Eco Ashram (Iyarkai Nala Vazhvu Maiyam) presents
NATIONAL ECONOMIC DEBATE
Venue: International Convention Hall, Rotunda Centre, BSE, Mumbai
Date: 11th December 2009
Time: 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Overview:
Indian growth is said to be the result of inflow of Foreign Money into India by some. By some it is said to be the result of Domestic Consumption. Some people even doubt whether India has actually grown. However, it is very clear that Indian Growth has attracted a lot of attention in the last 5-6 years, which leads us to the question:
Is India really growing? If yes, then what has been the reason of this growth? And how can the growth be sustainable?
To answer these questions, and also to present a totally different perspective on Indian finance, Eco Ashram, The Laymen Consultants & Catalysts are conducting a Two-Hour Seminar at The International Convention hall, Rotunda Centre, BSE, Mumbai on 11th December 2009

Economists, Sovereign Fund Managers, CFOs of Companies, Bankers, Investment Bankers, Students of Finance – MBA & BBA, Students of Economics – CFA, Economic Journalists, Faculty members of Colleges, Equity Analysts, Fund Managers, Stock Brokers, HNI Investors
Purpose of this Seminar
Dissemination of the Right and Actual Information to market participants, so that they benefit from the same and devise a strategy to minimize the impact of the looming global crisis.
Social Cause
When Lord Mountbatten asked “What is the first thing that you will want to do as soon as the British leave India…” Mahatma Gandhi declared "Cow protection is more important than even Swaraj."

Why Mahatma Gandhi put this on top priority needs to be understood. If we go in the history of India, for thousands of years, India has been invaded by many different civilizations. However, India has survived some way or the other because India has always been an Agricultural Economy. India’s agriculture has always been supported by Indian Cattle, especially the Indian Local breeds of Cows. While cow-dung serves as Fertilizer, cow urine serves as a Pesticide, Insecticide and has huge medicinal use in Ayurveda. However, lately, the Indian Cow is in danger because of rampant Cow Slaughter across India. Our Organization is engaged in stopping cow-slaughter and promoting Cow based agriculture.
